Fun Fridays!

Fridays are always a hit during Summer Camp! The kids get to cool off from the heat by using water guns and doing the slip & slide and then they get to have technology time! Also Fridays are for the treasure box! What better day than Friday?!!

Summer Learning

This week so far we have learned that there are a lot of famous people from South Carolina, there are 46 counties in South Carolina (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI9wRTCMqBs) and that Clemson is REALLY GOOD in football (especially against the gamecocks 🙂 ) It doesn’t feel right that next week is the last day of Summer Camp for 2023! For a lot of our kids tomorrow is their last day because they start a new school next year!

South Carolina History Week

Today we learned about the 46 counties in South Carolina and also learned that there are quite a few famous people that were born in South Carolina such as Vannah White (Wheel of Fortune), James Brown (Legendary Singer) Shoeless Joe Jackson (Legendary baseball player) Kevin Garnett (World Championship NBA player) and Mr. Chris’ Favorite one Chadwick Boseman most famous for playing King T’Challa in Marvels Black Panther (Probably because their cousins). Take some time today to learn a new fact!
